Rapid Transit 5150

Re: Rapid Transit 5150

Quite good . A STRAT i assume? Sounds good through a 5150, what cabinet
are you using and the settings on the amp?

thanks so much....My 5150 is the first model that came out in the 90's which I understand from doing some research is best one Peavey made...when I use it , i use the rhythm channel not the high gain channel. I also use it with an old 1970's Marshall cab with 25 watt Celestion greenbacks. ...Settings on the amp are as follows:

treble 8
mid 7
bass 4
pre gain 8
master 3
presence 7
resonance 4
both bright and crunch buttons on....strat....

Common misconception - the only difference between any of the 5150's (blockletter and signature models) was the tubes they shipped from the factory with.

Clip sounds great though, very nice playing and the tone suits you quite well! I need to try some Greenbacks with my 5150.

Awesome stuff, that's the kind of fast playing I am tryin to change to, two srings, 6 notes, sequencial two part typa frasing, shredding with thought. Loved the tone, strat really shined through .... hmm ... 5150 .... hmm ...

Re: Rapid Transit 5150

Some scary licks right there. I'm picturing someone in hot pursuit. Or maybe it's just you making me feel ashamed for selling my 5150.
