I thought it was too muddy.
It sounded as though it was too much for the mic, so that might be it.

I don't really have a preference over either of them.

I like the second one better.. the first one is too boomy for me and me subwoofer.. (and me neighbours)

Turn your amp UP


Turn your mic input DOWN


The sound of your pick is distracting.


The tone isn't bad - I think I prefer the first tone overall, but the second one suits the riff better.

I think the tone of test2 is pretty cool, but the recording is crap :/

I Like The Second One....

But You Could Record Both Together And It Would Sound Evil...

Just Remember To Watch Levels, Also Try Recording One Side Dry
No Efects Lets Just Say On The (r) Right Side And On The Left(l) Have The
Guitar With Effects.

You Could Even Do That With The Two Demos. Place Demo #1 On The Left Side And #2 On The Right. And See How That Works.
