RATT Wanted Man Remix w Apollo x6

Revisited my old RATT Wanted Man project; which I did with software VSTs.

This time running my Apollo x6 and UAD plugins (which use the HEXA cores); remixed.

So, different mix, different (powered) plugins, but exact same tracks.

And yes, the pickup is a JBJ. Amp was ADA MP-1. Mic was SM57

Both sound amazing, but I find the slightly noisier and chewier ADA clip more to my personal preference.

Amazing difference. Both good IMO but I didn't expect the difference to be so significant. Nice!

I don't think either sound amazing... maybe passable.

Now that I listen to it again (and isn't that the usual trick? LOL)

I like the cohesion/"glue" of the new clip, but the EQ of the guitars of the first one. The new one I think the guitars are a little too scooped in the lower mids.

Ah, mixing...
