"Re-Stabilizing" a neck...

Got an old 1-pc maple neck that hasn't been on a guitar in years. Was played a lot before it hit the bench, plenty of wear on teh fretboard/plenty of frets left!!!Heel-adjust truss rod tho,ugh...
Now it is.It's tuned to Eb on a Squier body, not that it matters. It's buzzy/farty/plinky all that good stuff, but how long should it take to settle in,approx?
I know there's no def answer as I'll keep an eye on it over the next few days.

Wish me luck,& Thanx for any pointers!!!

:D

plinky
sounds like the neck body joint
if you aren't making good contact across the joint

sounds like a loose fit

Yeah gotta put some sticks in the neck.
Gonna get 'em now,actually,Thanx/Duh...
The bridge is all wonky/jacked up,too, just trying to see how it takes tension...
