(recent) BC Rich Q's

Man I made a mistake today, my machine at work is down (CT scanner) so I had to leave early. There's a GC a couple miles from here, so I decided to see what they had. One of the things in their used dept. was a BC Rich of some sort (I really like them, but can't keep the names of them straight) A friend of mine had a really cheap bolt-neck BCR, it looked and played like a $99 thing. The one they had today, though was neck-thru, spalted maple top with a single bucker and no tremolo. (pix)

Man, the LAST thing I need is another guitar right now, especially since I have 8 long-term projects going on and NO money. But I did have the credit card on me...:naughty:
So anyway, does anybody on here have a new-ish BCR? This one felt really nice, other than the "plastic-dipped" finish (which 8 minutes and a Scotch-brite pad will take care of) THe only BCR's I've actually played were a $$$$$$$$ 70's one at a fancy store in Chicago, and my buddy's POS.
Oh yeah, $349 at the ROseville MN GC. THey looked like they were taking just about everything out of there, maybe there'll be a "remodeling sale" or closing or something. Hey, anybody need a bunch of project guitars?

I have one of the gunslinger reissues. its a great player. Honestly, I dont think it matters what others say or have. If this one feels good to you and plays good, go for it. Almost every respectable company out there is capable of making a good guitar and sometimes even a turd. But this could be a gem, so if it trips your trigger, HNGD!! Its def cool looking and Ive always LOVED the warlock shape!
