Recomend me a decent power amp.

Ok, this is my bro, a power amp that will work well with Messa's V-Twin's pre-amp pedal, 50watts, tube. The tones: Nightwish, Stratovarious, Zerb's Infinite Ending, Savatage "Streets" album, Blind Guardian. Is there anything out there for about $500 or even less maybe?

used Mesa 50/50 would fall in that range, but the Peavey would work, as well. Carvin makes the TS100, if you're into EL34's.

Virtual, thanks dude, Mesa and Carvin tend to be over $500 from a quick look in google is that right? My bro is on the budget unfotunately so ideally around $400 would be great, so I guess its more like that a Peavey 50/50 would be it right, guys? Thanks.

Re: Recomend me a decent power amp.

EL84's don't have enough headroom on their own for that kind of music. The only way you'd really want to consider EL84 is when you just need that sweet, sweet beakup at low volumes, then slave it out to a huge solid state power amp or something, or play in stereo with two big cabs.

You'd probably want to go with the Peavey classic 120 because it has presence and resonance controls, and you can always rebias it with some premium quality tubes.

If you want single channel (mono), try the M/B 20/20 in bridge mode (40W).
It shall suit your needs.
