Recommend a good inexpensive tele copy

Recently I've been wanting a tele.. I can't afford it, I know that, but maybe sometime in the future I would be able to afford a good tele copy. What would you recommend? The tokai's? others? Chime in please

Why not look for a s/h MIM? They're ok guitars the MIM teles..

Well, that could be an option also, I'm open for anything if it's good, and not too expensive.

My MIM Tele is ok tried about 12 in the shop and it was the best of the bunch. could probably do with a pickup change!

Have a look at Tokai's they build good quality guitars that are ideal for modding

Most of the Squier Tele's I've picked up have been very good guitars.

The MIM Fenders are the best value for the dollar right now. My Bastardcaster Tele was a MIM before I rebuilt it.

Tokai are very nice if you can find one. But you can also do great if you take the time to play a bunch of Squiers to find one that floats your boat.
