Putting together a fat stat loaded with to humbuckers.
Playing in a classic rock band. Play blues rock and hard rock, good cleans important.
These are the pickups I have on hand don't want to buy anything else if not needed.
Looking for some suggestion before I break ou the soldering iron.

On hand pickups, Alnico II pro Bridge (2), Dimarzio Super Distortion, Pearly Gates bridge, Custom SH-5.

I'm assuming the Alnico II Pro would work well in the neck even though its a bridge model.

I would never ever put a A2P bridge in the neck. This is mud heaven in a Lester, probably in a strat a little less so. In this case she wind is more important the bare DC resistance values.

I would use the PG Bridge in the neck and pair it with the CC (swapping a A2 in the C5!). The CC is fine choice for a full sound in a strat. The PGB will be a great match to the CC.

+1

Custom as bridge/treble PU, PG+ as neck/rhythm PU.

NOTE: Fender's take on the HH Strat idea featured a special SD '59 as the neck position pickup. Its A5 magnet is inverted. On a five-way Megaswitch, to retain hum cancellation in selector switch position #2 (inside coils in parallel), the four conductors need to be connected up in reverse to the normal order. Black and green become the series link. Red and white become the hot and ground.

Check the official Fender Big Apple or Double Fat Stratocaster schematic diagram for confirmation.
