I would avoid the new MXR Dynacomps. I've got one with the extra attack control, .

Maybe that's the problem. I am rather fond of my Dynacomp reissue.

A guy in church uses the Carl Martin. He likes it.

you want a barber tone press or a monte allums OPTO MOD boss cs-3 (stock does really suck). I'd go for the barber since it has the option of slightly less compression. But the opto mod cs-3 with the attack all the way up, and sustain all the way down is very light and still gives you some decent dynamics, but sustain out the waz. The mxr is also a little badass right out of the box and adds this great little top end spike that i LOVE, cheap too

Very well could be. Now I need to buy another one and find out for sure. :fingersx:

The comp I really want, though, is an Orange Squeezer reissue. Just the perfect amount of pump and sustain. Analogman has a couple clips up that I keep going back to.
