Recommend me a noise gate

And also were should I put it in my signal line?

Here is my current setup:

Guitar->Boss V-wah->MXR Phase 90->Rocktron Zombie rectifier distortion->Jeckyl and Hyde overdrive/distortion->Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster->Digitech digital delay->Fender '59 Bassman Reissue

The distortion pedals produce, what my band calls, the fish bowl effect..I want that gone...

Re: Recommend me a noise gate

I'd lose at least the Rocktron and Jeckyl. Then you won't need one.

My pedalboard went from 5 effects, down to 3 recently. I'm much happier now.

Well I can't do that because those are my main sounds. I am in a hard rock band....

Re: Recommend me a noise gate

My Zombie isn't very noisy. It's a monster distortion, so it can magnify other noise in the signal chain, but it doesn't seem to produce its own noises.

I like the Boss NS-2 too, I'm usually not a big fan of Boss pedals, but this one makes my stack so silent you could hear a pin drop....until you pluck a string...
