I like the newer Vibrolux they offer now with the cream knobs. With a LP that get's into some nice Santana territory when getting maxed. Barks pretty good with vol roll off.
It's not a Fender but the Victoria 35310 (tweed bandmaster circuit) is an awesome rock overdrive sound when pushed hard. I like it better than the Bassman.

'57 Tweed Twin RI. And mine has the 12ay's in it and i have yet to pull one of the rectifiers to increase sag.:fingersx:

For recording, a nice tweed champ with a good tube screamer type of pedal. For gigging a bassman. The Supersonic is a fun amp, too.
