I'm getting ready to do some rewiring on my Jackson Dinky. It currently has a volume knob, a tone knob, and a 5 way switch. I have 3 humbuckers in it, and was considering 2 possible scenarios..
scenario 1:
add three on/on/on switches to do parallel/coil-cut/series for each pickup, keep the standard 5 way toggle with the typical pu combos, and add two push/pull pots for a phase switch and something else.
scenario 2:
upgrade the 5 way to a super 5 way, add two push/pull pots for combos similar to the ones mentioned above.
I previous did the jimmy page wiring on my LP, so I'm somewhat familiar with wiring diagrams, but I've been having some trouble following some of the super 5-way diagrams I've seen. Would the super 5 way and 2 push/pull pots be capable of the same combos mentioned in scenario 1? Thanks.
