Recommendation: PRS Michael Akerfeldt Model replacement pickups

It has been awhile, but you guys helped me pimp out my Ibanez AS-83 into an awesome guitar (it is still in regular rotation).

Now I have a PRS Michael Akerfeldt Signature guitar that I bought because I loved the feel. It really is one of the easiest-to-play guitars I've played. However, I'm not happy with the pickups. The bridge just doesn't have enough harmonics and the neck is classically muddy on anything over light overdrive.

What am I looking for? I'm going to play things like soundgarden / tool / helmet with this guitar. A bit heavier, lots of gain, but I still want punch and clarity. It's already wired for 50's wiring (you guys educated me on that).

Any suggestions?

TB-5 Custom in the bridge.

^ +1, '59, Jazz or FullShred in the neck

So I did the Jazz Neck and 59/Custom Hybrid, and I'm loving it! Excellent combo that suits all my needs!

Bare Knuckle Cold Sweats. They are the clearest high output pickups I have ever tried

Great set! If you want even more output, make a hybrid with the patb1 and patb2.

I have an Akerfeldt as well. The pickups were too bright with that ebony board. I put a Custom Custom in and love it.

I don't want to rob this thread so would u care to pm me on this hybrid. I have been considering to buy the pickups to make one

I have the same guitar (great neck right?) and did went through a number of pickups, settled with a 59 neck, and on bridge either a JB, 59/Custom for higher gain application, or SSV/Seth lover for a more vintage flavour.

Right now it has a set of P-Rails, which I'm quite fond with.
