On my quest for better sound, or getting closer to it, I found a song that sounds more like the stuff I'm normally playing: "Calling" by Taproot. Bassy cleans (just add chorus and this is sort of similar to what I play, but clean must sound clean), then distortion. Please tell me what you think. This is a relatively new song, I think, but it's the only (and best) example I have that you guys might know. So far I'm 99% sure I want '59 Neck (4-wire) with JB bridge, like most ESPs similar to mine. Thanks!
