Hi,
I've got a rear routed guitar that I want to fit with Hot Rails.
Unfortunately; the routing is so narrow, it doesn't allow for any lead coming out on the side of the pickup as is the case with the new Hot Rails.
Has anyone resoldered the wires so they come out of the bottom of the pickup?
Should I even attempt this?
It does seem straightforward with the new pickups that are equiped with the circuit board, but I like to be sure before ruining the pickups.
