Recorded some hard rock demos with my new band (Thin Lizzy, etc...)

My new project was fortunate enough to record at Ardent this past week. We did a few covers ("Cold Sweat" by Thin Lizzy, "Wanton Song" by Zeppelin) and an original.

We have no singer yet, so I had to handle vocals, which was new territory for me. Not great, but they will do for now...I'm most pleased with the guitar tones though. I used my Les Paul '02 Standard through my Splawn Quick Rod, which really cut through.

Anyways, I'm really excited about this project. I'm lucky to find other kids (our ages are 16-18 ) who want to play this kinda stuff.
Check it out here. Add us as friends, etc...THANKS!!!:

Great stuff man! The guitar tones are fine the mix could be better but you're rockin it. Great job.

Good to hear an old Thin Lizzy cover (well I guess not that old relative to their other stuff)... I always really liked all the tunes off of Thunder and Lightning and the guitar playing had a large influence on my style.
