Recording my Vox AD15 Question....

Hi -
I want to try my hand recording on my laptop.
So I have a Vox AD15. Can i just connect this to my laptop using a GarageBand Guitar Cable?
Also what else would i need? I know i can download audacity for free to use.
Would this be enough just to get my ideas onto my laptop?

Hi all -

Forget about it...I figured a simple way using what I have.
I just record myself playing with my mp3 player (Creative N200) using its voice recorder and then transfer it to my laptop. I use audacity (for free) to clean it up and convert it to mp3 format (the mp3 player saves as wav).

Sounds good enough to get ideas down.
