Red Fang versus P12Q in my 5E3

Uh, no comparison.

First of all, the red fang weighs twice as much. Big ass magnet on that RF. No farting out now.

(anyone want to buy a virtually brand new p12q?, haha!)

I don't have a great deal of experience with the Blues, so I won't compare against them. What I can say is that I really like this RF and it's freaking brand new.

I got a bit more clean headroom out of the amp as the RF is more efficient than the CBlue.

Very nice speaker.

It's one of the new Red Coat series from Emminence. It's supposed to be a serious contender to the Celestion Blue. It's the only alnico speaker in that new line of brittish and american speakers.

And it's excellent at 50% of the price of the Celestion Blues. You HAVE to try one man. I'd love to hear what you think.

The guys on the Gear Page are gushing with excitement, mainly the boutique builders that hang out there. Roccoforte and Peters and some others.

Cool! Bruce might be an Emminence dealer. I'll check into it. The Celestion Alnico Blue is THE speaker for a 5E3, IMO, so sounds like you're on the right track with that choice. Thanks for the tip! Lew
