Refinishing Shop

Can anyone recommend a reliable repair/custom/paint shop that does refinishing work at a decent price? I have two strat bodies that I'd like to have professionally refinished, and was not happy with the work done by Sims Custom Shop in Nashville.

Any suggestions would be a big help. Thanks guys.

Re: Refinishing Shop

Thanks guys, I'll have to give one of these a shot. Marty Bell claims a 5-7 turnaround time...the two shops I used in the past, Boston Guitar Works and Sims Custom Shop, took 8 and 12 months for refinishing work. Not sure how Marty does it but I'm impressed.

Re: Refinishing Shop

Patrick Sims painted two guitars for me, and that is all I want to say about that.

I now use Marty Bell for paint, and yes he will do a better job and have your guitar back in 3 weeks (from when you sent it).

Marty's work is OEM quality and is price very competitively.
