I decided it's time to get my 78 LPS a refret and tune up. Can anyone recommend a good luthier in the Central Texas area that you would trust to do a Les Paul? It's a 1978 Tobacco Standard and this will be it's first refret or tune up.
I am the original owner and to say I am a little leary about having it worked on is an understatement. This guitar is part of me and I would hate to have it butchered.
I asked for Central Texas because there is no way I would send this in the mail, Fedex or whatever. I want to be able to look the guy (or gal) in the eye when I hand it to them and same when they hand it back to me.
BTW: Anyone had their Les Paul refretted and about (ballpark) can I expect it to run me?
