Re: Remember the Tom Delonge strat thread?

nah, actually, i have lived in north dakota damn near my whole life*except for a few years from whe i was like 1-3 when i lived in New York. And if you think i'm this beandip dude, call my class act mother and ask her. We've been North Dakotans for about 16 years now.

Re: Remember the Tom Delonge strat thread?

That's great you got your money back stratomaster! I Mommy paddled his little behind.

I vote the original thread be vaulted so no one on this forum ever has to deal with this weasel ever again.

Re: Remember the Tom Delonge strat thread?

nope, mom just said i should give the money back, nothing more nothing less.

Re: Remember the Tom Delonge strat thread?

I am amazed you have the sack to still post here.

You should be embarrassed that your mother had to handle your business, and yet you act as though nothing happened.

Re: Remember the Tom Delonge strat thread?

If any of you remember the Long thread about the Tom Delonge I bought on here and it was crap. I contacted Dustins parents. His mom. She ended up refunding all my money plus return shipping,.

She was a very nice person and a class act all the way.

Just wanted to pass this on to all who helped me out. Thanks guys!

Good, I was wondering what happened just a couple days ago. That whole thing just started when I joined. pretty intense. Glad you got it all taken care of and that his parents were on your side.

I bet someone got a spanking/grounding that night. My mom would've beat me stupid for doing such a thing.

Re: Remember the Tom Delonge strat thread?

Stratomaster...Glad that it all ended so well.

I followed the thread almost post-by-post and contributed.
Hard to forget that thread. I was just wondering the other day as to what happened. Thanks for posting this.

Dave

+1. I also followed it post-by-post. Taught me to be skeptical of who I tradewith/buy from/sell to.

+1.

BTW Jeff, how come you don't post much, if ever in the other forum rooms?? Or at least i never see your name in the other rooms. What gives? You seem like a nice enough guy.

I still wouldn't trade with either of you. This whole deal just wasn't kosher to begin with.

Re: Remember the Tom Delonge strat thread?

The only reason i am still a member here, and still posting here. is because i honestly didnt do anything wrong. I sold a guitar that I as well as all my band members agreed was in MUCH worse shape when I got it back then when I shipped it. No my parents weren't mad, no i didn't get a "spankin"...nothing. i sold a guitar legitly, and because of either shipping errors...or..*and i sure hope not* jeff set this all up as a scam on me for being unable to ship the guitar out promptly. So no matter what I personally post here with a clean conscience and an open mind.

Re: Remember the Tom Delonge strat thread?

can..worms.. open... now

Can we please consider putting this to rest...before the "can" opens any further.

+1, if this starts up again there may be greater consequences than a thread lock. Tread lightly, guys.

Yes, I agree, I'm NOT trying to start something...I know I probably should have worded my above post differently. Although I felt like I should post my honest opinion on what I got out of the situation. I DONT want anymore trouble with Jeff, or anyother forum member. Again, keep it clean, and if you have beef...take it up w/ me in PM...I'll gladly explain things from my prospective and you can take it from there

Wow, was I away that long? I had no clue this started up again. I only wanted to post the fact that I got my money back from Dustins mom. Not him btw.

I only have one thing to say, the guitar arrived back to Dustin exactly as it came to me with one exception. It arrived with rusty old strings. I took them off to take pcitures of the worn frets. I did however include a new set of strings in the pocket of the gigbag.

Dustin I will end this now. Your mom is a very cool, very honest woman. You are a liar! Plain and simple. You're still trying to lie your way out of this by saying the guitar came back to you in worse shape etc. Give it a rest already and learn some lessons from your mother.

Re: Remember the Tom Delonge strat thread?

actually i gave my mom the money, and she sent the money order out in her name.

and no i'm not trying to start anything up, i'm just saying that based on how i and my fellow bandmates looked at the guitar, it WAS indeed in worse shape than how i had shipped it out...i also posted that i am hoping that it was UPS's fault and not yours that it is in worse shape.

I have nothing to learn and as i have posted before....i leave this one way or another with a clean conscience and a clear mind.

Re: Remember the Tom Delonge strat thread?

Didn't do anything wrong?

If you're the same guy who screwed me over, and sold someone that bass "as new" that had been through a house fire, AND screwed FenderMan79...

You've got a lot of explaining to do. If anyone of my facts are off here, can anyone that ISN'T named Dustin (considering I know the guy who sold the afformentioned bass and screwed my friend and I over years ago was of the same name) correct me?
