Remove American Pro Jazzmaster tremolo arm

Hi,

I've been at it for at least 1 hour, I can't remove it!

It's a screw in arm but when I try to unsrew it, the sleeve kinda ''unsrew'' with the arm and everything becomes loose.

Anyone know how to remove it or if it's simply broken?

Sounds like the collet is loose - if you unscrew the vibrato from the guitar, you can tighten:

EDIT: If it's a brand new guitar, take it back to the retailer if you're uncomfortable doing this yourself, or contact Fender about warranty repair; ought to be something they recognize.
