I have just received 2008 Les Paul's neck + body. but they have A LOT of old glue in the neck joint area. normally I would just scrape it off, but I really don't wanna damage the wood and face problems later...

any other ways to remove titebond?

Re: removing old titebond

Warm vinegar is what the antique repair place i used to work at used. soak a rag with heated vinegar, put it onto the pocket, repeat as needed. Eventually the glue will soften enough to remove it more easily.

"heated" means boiling hot or just tepid

I would say somewhere in the 40-60degree area. So warm to the touch but not scalding. Also helps with burn safety. Oh, this is deg C too.
