I tried some cleaner similar to that, based on the suggestion of a local luthier. it ended up leaving a bit of a rough finish on that section of the bobbin. what you have there appears to do a nicer job.
I ended up trying some polish I already had for aluminum wheels/mags, from the Mothers brand. dab a bit of that one with a cotton tipped application (or a q-tip works), put one of the felt wheel attachments on the dremel on a low speed, and use a very light hand while keeping it slowly going from side to side. bam! works like a champ. polishes up to a nice sheen when finished.

It's interesting how you can get Fender logos, and the like. Restoring a logo to a pickup seems a little trickier. Why do people remove them, anyway? Continuity of aesthetics? I like the logos on my pickups, it gives me a sense of pride using Duncan's lovingly crafted pickups.

You're not getting Fender's logos legally.
Sometimes people want them to match. A lot of 59s don't have logos, so if you've got a 59 in the neck and something a little hotter in the bridge, it looks like you have one Duncan and one no-name.

I don't know, if I wanted to do it just for personal use and no intent to make any money out of that I think it should be no problem. However I am not a lawyer

Novus #2 plastic polish works great, and polishes the bobbin as well. Not toxic and no fumes, unlike some of the other products mentioned.

Call SD and ask for one. See how far you get. In fact, call any business and ask for a copy/decal/file of their logo.

Also...guys...Aceman is dead on. I work in graphics for a living folks...the use of someone's logo without legal permission (at LEAST two pages of documentation) is a complete no no IF you ever get caught.
You guys are 98% fine because you are doing stuff for yourselves and technically if you are making really nice guitars you can really only help Fender out by putting their logo on your stage.
Guys like Ed Roman (rest in peace...kinda) used to get in trouble all the time because he'd make "replicas" of famous guitars which all had the same serial number. I know a guy who works for Fender/ Jackson/ EVH and he said in a guitar clinic in upstate New York that (specifically) Jackson had a team of lawyers JUST to deal with Ed Roman.
Verdict.
