I am replacing the stock bridge single coil in my Fender American standard Telecaster with a Seymour Duncan Little '59. The problem is that after removing the strings and loosening the two screws that hold the bridge together to the body of the guitar the bridge doesn't come off. Is the bridge of a Telecaster glued to the body? What shoud I do to replace it? Thank you for helping me out

Well, Theres not Two screws holding that Bridge to the body. Theres Four screws. Two of them are just covered by the B & A string saddles. So what ya do to remove those screws is. flip the A and B string saddles onto they're sides. Exposeing the screws that lay underneith them. And then just unscrew em......Ed

Yep. And once you get those four screws out, you might have to tap the bridge a little just to knock it loose. They have a habit of sticking to the top sometimes...especially if the top was freshly painted just prior to installation. Lew
