Hello guys and gals.
I have a repair job coming up. Id say im fairly competant with guitar building and soldering etc. This would be my first pickup repair. Its a tele stack that i bought very cheaply and was wondering if anyone knew where or what i shoud do with this. How to test that there arent any breaks in the coils etc and how theoretically this should be repaired. Many thanks. EDF5A04C-6896-410B-A16B-A9974402D5A9.jpg

Repair help needed.

You can check for breaks by reading the resistance of each coil.

Seeing as there are stray strands of wire, it looks like there’s probably a break.

You’d have to determine which coil is is. Then you might be able to peel bank some wire until you find the loose end, and resolder it to the eyelet. It’s tricky. If you are lucky the break won’t be too far in.
