Replace 3 way switch with dual concentric vol pot or...?

I have Ovation VXT with 2 SH-1's. 1 vol, 1 tone & 3way pup selector (also knob etc for Fishman piezo, but not issue here).
Could I replace switch with dual concentric 500k pots, then off to master volume control?
Could I replace single master volume control with dual concentric (1 for each pup)? Maybe even skip the 3 way and use duals instead?
Sorry if these questions elicit eye rolls... just want a bit more control than currently available regarding relative volumes of pups.... "all bridge - 50/50 - all neck" doesn't seem ideal.

Yes, but you need to be careful. Every pot that you put in the signal chain, adds a "load" to the pickup. Every load to a passive pickup diminishes its output and high-frequency content. It's just not a good idea. I'll elaborate later, if that's not clear. (It's late, here in FL.) ;)
