Replace active emg 707 with passive Duncan’s

Is there anything simple I can do to fit passive humbuckers into the emg707 cutouts on an Rg7 string with no pickguard

Welcome to the forum!

Besides the Distortion, there is the Invader, & Pegasus.

If you don't mind tinkering with a dremel, you can buy an empty pair of the active housings for just a few bucks online and trim just about any 7-string pickup's baseplate to fit inside: LINK

That's basically what Duncan does:

If you swap out the screw poles for hex poles, you can make them flush with the top of the pickup and they'll seat snugly against the top of the housing inside. That way, they'll still look like an EMG on the outside...very clean
