Replace pickups in Blacktop Strat.

I have a pearly gates bridge, and jazz neck. I would like to install in my blacktop strat. I tried installing them with the wires from the blacktop pickups, but everything was out of phase. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Check the Seymour Duncan website for wiring diagrams that work with their pickups. Assuming that's 2 humbuckers, one volume, two tones and a 3-way blade, this might help: https://www.seymourduncan.com/images/wiring-diagrams/2H_3B_1V_2T.jpg

You're definitely going to have to change the color codes from Fender to SD to make it work correctly-this should give a pretty good idea of what goes where.

Yes, one of the most frustrating thing in pickup replacement is that wire colors are not universal among brands.

If they are both working correctly but are just out of phase, just switch the hot and ground wire connections on one of the pickups.

yes, youll want to flip the magnet in one of the pups if you are using that wiring scheme
