Replacement base plate.

I did something stupid today. I bought a new JB/Jazz set and was installing them into a new guitar. The guitar has direct mount pickups, but the baseplate did not have the step-down for the mounting feet. The baseplate is one flat piece of metal. I tried to mimic the baseplate on my JB by bending the tab flat. It ended up breaking off. Now I've decided to route the pickup cavities and leave the baseplates stock.

Has anyone ever gotten a replacement baseplate from Seymour Duncan. If so, what was the cost and did you have to send the old baseplate back?

thanks,
Al

Re: Replacement base plate.

Just a quick update. I ended up getting baseplates from Stewmac. They fit the JB/Jazz set perfectly. The only difference is that the Stewmac plates have longer legs than the stock Duncans. Installed the pickups and they sound great..
