Replacement pickups for 72`telecaster deluxe

Hello!
i`m upgrading my 72`tele deluxe(mim) and have some problems finding humbuckers that will fit.Will trembuckers do the job on this one?
I would like this one to sound more like a vintage gibson.
Problems: The string spacing and the fact that this is a brighter sounding guitar!!!!!!

Do you have the split pole Fender bucker's in there now? If so, The trem spaced PuPs may help with string alignment. But you may have to have a custom pickguard made to mount them properly.

check out the Rio Grande pickups web page. They have pickups specifically for that guitar (big bottom set). They are new and i want to try them out myself cause i have one of those tele's as well. Let me know how it works out, cause they don't go into detal as far as the sound goes.

Tried to get those at warmoth,not in stock.
4-8 weeks. too bad they don`t have a better tone wizzard.How the hell am i suppose to know how the muy grande sounds when they got some 80`s heavy rockers playing some ****.
