Replacement Pickups for ibanez SRX350 ?

Hi guys.

I have a question about the pickups in the ibanez SRX350 4 string bass. Since I changed pickups in my p bass a friend is asking if i could change his pickups as well.
But i can't find anything about the size and form factor. Are there any good replacement humbucker for this bass? Though it's an inexpensive bass he loves it and it plays very good. He told me the output is much to strong on the stock pickups which creates issues when changing to his other bass, because this one is a lot louder. Turning down the bass volume doesn't sound right and changing amp settings seems not ideal either.

I'd be happy, if someone has a suggestion for me

is this the bass with the narrower musicman style pups? if the pups are wired in series, you might be able to wire them in parallel for a brighter lower output tone. dont know of any direct replacements

I guess regular musicmans won't fit.



Those are the pickups, but the ones on his bass are rather rusty. So a replacement would be nice.

Wiring in parallel is a sound that I really like and have as an option on my guitars as well. Do you mean the individual coils in parallel or the pickups in parallel? I don't think that the pickups have four conductor wires, but I will check. Thanks for your input

dont know of any direct replacement for those. i do mean wiring the individual pups in parallel which would require more than a hot and ground wire unless you want to open up the pups

You could get those pickups rewound, which is an option with weirdo pickup shapes.
