Hello,

I bought for very very cheap a 5 string bass (a Harley Benton) which basically is the same as a Peavey Grind.
I bought it to test what a 5 string is..
The wood is good, handling is good and so on, but electronic is crap.

I would like to replace the pickups but browing Seymour website i fail to find the same dimensions.

Does these Chinese pups say something to you ?

The size is 120 mmm length and 23mm width

Thanks

Luc

Welcome to the forum.

I do not pretend to know anything about your stock HB pickups - not even whether they are single coil or dual coil beneath their covers.

One pickup that will fit the stock cavities is this. http://www.bartolini.net/product/x55cbjd-b1t1/ Unfortunately, a brand new pair will cost considerably more than the host instrument.

If you have access to routing equipment, it should not be difficult to enlarge the pickup cavities. Then, they would accept the more commonly available replacement pickup sizes.
