Replacement pups for a PRS SAS?

Just picked up a PRS Swamp Ash Special and it needs pups. What coil-splitable humbuckers would sound good in this ash-bodied guitar? Nothing too hot...

What year is you SAS?
The older ones split just the neck
The newer ones split just the bridge

I bought mine stock / used 97 + a piezo and the 3 way switch in the middle has a nice single coil neck/middle sound when the push pull is up.

I have used the SD JB split in other guitars and it sounds great as HB or split.

Blues, classic rock mostly with this guitar, mostly with blackface Fenders (Super Reverb) and I will wire it to split both pups with a push-pull tone pot. This one is a '97, I have 3 all stock with McCarty pups except this one. I also happen to have a pair of zebra 59's that I was going to start with.

I once had an '88 CE with the alder body and maple fretboard/neck. It had an Alnico II in the neck and a JB in the bridge, so I think we're on the right track. I had forgotten that, good ideas guys, thanks...

If you're keeping the Vintage Rail in the mid, I'd go with a Pearly Gates bridge model in the neck and either a JB or a Custom in the bridge.

Try a CC in the bridge.. they also split well.. and a Seth Lover or a Pearly gates in the the neck.
