Hey guys, what would be the best replacement speakers for a 4X12 slant cab ? I allready have a 100wtt Marshall SS head . I play 80s & 90s Metal, im looking at either Celestion G12T-75s, Classic Lead 80s, Vin30s,. I would like to run 2 of each. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks, SIXX :headbang:

A lot of people are really liking some of the Red Coats by Eminence. They seem to be priced better anyway. They're probably worth looking into.

In a marshall cab I just changed the four g12t75 for Classic Leads and this is so much better on all register ; clean , distorted rythm and leads .

The prices for Eminence and Celestion are pretty much the same from Avatar, G12Ts are $60 + shipping, most of the others are around $80 except for the Alnicos and new Neo magnet ones. The Eminence are $60 - $80 also. The Eminence seem to be more sensitive (efficient), hence louder, and sound very good. I have a set of GB12s (a higher wattage version of the Greenbacks that are a little smoother) and a set of Wizards (kind of a cross between G12Hs and Vin30s). I'm thinking about trying some G12Ts in place of the Wizards to tame down the mids. I figure the lower efficiency might make it better to push the amp a little harder too. But, then I plug in the cab and say, that's pretty nice... Guitar players, are they ever happy
