Anyone know if this can be done, assuming the scale lengths are the same? I've come across a potential project guitar at a good price, but it has a 24 fret shredder-style neck with a broken headstock. I've been looking for a good Floyd Rose guitar to replace my soon to be up for sale Wolfgang, and I'm thinking this Hamer body would be perfect. I'm not a big fan of thin necks or 24 fret necks, so I'd like to replace the broken neck with a Warmoth neck. Assuming a Warmoth neck will fit, are there any issues with intonation that would arise from replacing a 24 fret neck with a 22 fret neck? I'm thinking there should be enough travel in the Floyd bridge saddles to correctly intonate the guitar with the new neck, can anyone confirm this? Are there any other issues I should be concerned about? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
