Replacing pups in a HSH guitar

Hi guys, new to the forum - hope to get some good advise.
I have an Ibanez S770FM-ATF which has two humbuckers and a single coil in the middle. I want to stick a set of Seymour Duncan pups (JB/Jazz set) on either side and a JBJ (mini humbucker) in the middle.
The Ibanez has a 5 way switch, what will 2 and 4 use? Both middle and neck/bridge of half of each? Is it a good idea to do this?

Depends on how it was originally designed. The switches in most Ibanez HSH guitars can split the bridge & neck, but aren't designed to autosplit a middle pickup.

So you'll get the whole middle pickup and one of the others split.
