Request: Duncan Distortion Clips and Screaming Demon Clips

Lookin for clips of these not together, but seperate. both bridge positions. something to replace my invader because its too bassy and i feel it has no clarity.

I don't have a clip but I bet you'd like the DD. The Demon is a bit down in the PAF output range. :rolleyes:

yeah, most of the clips on my soundclick were of my custom...

smooth solo is the custom for lead tone

I like the clean tone on the Custom a little more. I think it's better if you want a lot of power chord punch too.
I like the way the DD compresses under distortion. It's smoother than the Custom but does not have the same bottom end punch.

Here is a clip of an improvised jam from 5 or so years ago, with a 59 neck and a demon bridge. It starts on the 59 neck, then half way through switches to a screaming demon. I don't remember which guitar it was.. I know it had to be either a swampash tele or a basswood strat, both maple necks.

I got tired of the neck pickup always overpowering the demon, so I stopped using it.. I hadn't tried it with the pearly gates neck, though, and would be interested to know if anyone had any success with that combo.

thanks to everybody. especially stevo and \m/(00)\m/ for the clips you guys are crazy good. i called seymour duncan today and will be exchanging my invader for the custom.
