Rerproducing the Epiphone "TV Pelham Blue" with Reranch stuff
As for the TV name, it's probably just in reference to being able to see the grain. It still looks like regular opaque Pelham Blue to me, just sunken into the grain. I'd guess that they either misused "TV" on purpose, just to sound good, or out of ignorance, thinking that it referred to visible grain.

I think we're all fairly idiosyncratic when it comes to colors we like. In my research I've come across multiple firm threads (elsewhere) from people who HATE Pelham Blue and don't understand why anyone would want it at all.
As for the Bonamassa LP, I'm not crazy about the dark back on those. I'd much rather have either the whole thing blue or do a light stain like Gibson did on the PB Traditional a couple of years ago. Or maybe that was the current Deluxe. I can't remember now.

You know what . . . I hadn't even noticed that. I was blinded by the "blue". But yes, I'm not crazy about that either.
