Resonant peak tweak

Yea I had to make it rhyme :D

I had a read here.. http://terrydownsmusic.com/technotes/guitarcables/guitarcables.htm

Very very interesting. Now I'd really like to put this into some control and find out exactly what the difference in tone it.

What exactly does capacitance in a cable do? Is it in series between the guitar and input or what?

Essentially what I'd like to do is have a pot to control the height of the resonant peak, so just something in parallel with my volume put, and then some kind of control to shift it left or right. Would love to hear the effect that these have.

Thanks
Mike

Re: Resonant peak tweak

That's what the two "resonance" switch settings in the Booster do. If you have one (or access to one) try it out. You'll hear it right away.
