I'm gonna restore my '96 strat that's been modified almost beyond recognition during its years of use. Right now it has a rosewood fingerboard, Maple neck, Jumbo frets, Black body, and tortoise shell pickguard.
I've got a set of Lil 59's and a G.Lynch Lil Screamin Demon in there now.
I want to get back that signature Strat Cluck/Quack/Spank - I mean really clucky! But I still want humbucking pickups (I can't deal with all that buzz n stage and in the studio - even with shielding).
I was thinking about the Classic Stacks for Neck and Middle and Hot Stack for the bridge.
Thought I'd check in here and see what you pro's think!
