Retard Reverb Question again ...

What's the best pure-analog rack reverb unit. I am interested only in reverb units, no multi-effects processors. Thanks Dudes.

Pure analog? You mean, a rack mount spring reverb? Good luck. Those things all got thrown away when the Yamaha SPX-90 hit the market in the 80's.

Look on eBay for an old Tapco reverb - I think it's call ed the 2200 or 4400 or something. They'll go cheap, and they're stereo so if one side stops working, you'll still have the other.

You'll have to find one used, as they are discontinued. They had reverb and tremelo in a chromed, single rack-space unit. I believe they were spring units. Check the Peavey website for an owner's manual, or their forums, to get more info.

The Valverb and the Tapco are about the ONLY spring rack reverbs I can think of.

Are you opposed to putting a spring reverb tank on top of your rack? Fender makes a tank that's certainly bigger than a one-rack space, but it's 100% Fender tube reverb. Mmmmm...
