I played a Church gig last night and used this full rig for the first time. I had my long time tec go through the head this week and really tweek it out. I dropped a late 80's Shunghang in V-1 a NOS Mullard CV-4025 in V-2 and the PI and a quad of the new Blackplate GT-6L6 CHP's. Last week I had also picked up a matching Red Avatar 2/12 with Vin 30's The tones are flat scary good out of this thing and the cleans are every bit as good as the crunches if not maybe better. This amp is amost dead silent at earbleed levels with nothing in the imput and so loud it's flat AMAZING!! She also will get just killer tones at lower volumes. This was done with the crunch channel volume at 1.5 or so and the DB level was running at around 95 or so from 20 feet off the amp. You ought to hear this thing when it's cranked just a little more where it can breath and the tone opens and cleans up.
I was playing the prototype one off Washburn for the MG 122 Super Strat with EMG's on this clip. This one has a 85 bridge and a H60A neck.
Check these tones out!!
