my friend got this amp back up and running and the higher grade IC chips really let more air flow through the amp it seems.
it retains that old school boxy death metal flavor but with more treble, since i hate using the contour knob on these amps.

this is done with the JB+

Whaddaya mean, return? The Valvestates can never be gotten rid of - just like certain STDs.

i used to have one, and i got this amp for free and it was repaired!

Cool! Sounds killer. I'd like to change out all the potentiometers on mine, then I'll be set. (we have different models but still)
