Reverb anyone?

Re: Reverb anyone?

I actually prefer the Verbzilla to the stand alone Fender tube unit because the Fender eats up a little of the guitar signal and weakens it. The guitar has less drive coming out of the Fender unit than it had going into it. Not a huge diff but enough that it's always bothered me. Lew

For this reason, DST Engineering makes a stand alone tank with a built in boost...

...of course, for the cost, you can buy 8 Line-6s :smack:

When I get some extra dough, I'm gonna grab one & have Jeff Swanson cover it in the same Irish tolex as my Edana & my "SET" will be complete:

DST Reverb tank
Celtic Edana
Marshall 1966A (closed back 2x12)
Marshall 1965B (opened back 4x10)

All covered in the Irish Tolex :D

SLAINTE' !!! :beerchug:

Re: Reverb anyone?

Have you tried it?
No, and I will not. Is it sort of ... cultist? YES it is. But right now I am at the very statisfying stage of sculpting my tone, my main influences were all analog, and my current set up is all analog and I wanna keep it "pure." That's why I am not critising the pedal, I just don't like the digital element in the signa path ... well maybe for the exception of ISP decimator. But I play TS9 pushed tube amp with analog chorus infront and i wanna keep that way.

Re: Reverb anyone?

Greg is correct. Add me to the list of satisfied "Verbzirra" users.

Jeremy is correct as well; get an adapter. It can be powered with the Visual Sound 1-Spot, BTW.

FYI: I thought they were shafting me on the shipping when I saw the weight for which they charged, until the box arrived. :saeek: I think the housing must be made of lead.
