Reversed Logo

Anybody experience a zebra neck pup with the SD logo printed on the cream coil whereby when mounted it reads reverse to the bridge logo?

This is on a 59 trembucker.

If it's a Trembucker, then it ain't a neck pickup.

Sounds like you should have ordered a reverse zebra if it is going in the neck. Should be a walk in the park to swap. Just be specific with a human about which coil you want cream, and which position you are putting it in-neck or bridge.
I have had a strat where a trembucker would have been better in the neck, but it was so close it was not worth the trouble, in my case.

This guy claims to be a SD authorized dealer and sells these and a lot of other trembuckers designated neck pick-ups. Is it possible he is misleading?

I guess they could be ordered, but it would not be a standard product. Are you sure it is a Trembucker (i.e. have you measured the pole spacing yourself)?

Yes it is definitely a trembucker. I called him and he says he has three more in stock that the logo is printed wrong. He also has them with the logo correct as in his Ebay ad. I am not sure it's worth pulling it out of the guitar for just a reversed logo. I had a tech do the work.
BTW I also contacted SD . Not sure I'll get a response.

You can solve the issue by just removing the logo with some metal polish. The logos are lame anyhow, IMO.

I ordered a reversed zebra trembucker and in the bridge position. No extra charge, floor shop price. And it fit perfectly with me. But I was very specific want I wanted, what position, etc,.
