Sounds like a project to invent something that already exists. Sonny Landreth uses the TransPerformance system, I think there's some info on his website, used to be anyway. If they can get the price down to weekend warrior levels it'd be great though.

ok, done..

sounds cool. if they can pull off at a more reasonable price than the transperformance thingy,cos for 3500 i can get me a custom built guitar that i can use for alternate tunings .. AND they should fit it INSIDE of the guitar, because no way in hell would i put an abomination of that tuning system on any of my guitars. sooo .. if it looks decent and isnt pricy (and aint a pedal) i'm prolly gonna get it eventually hehe

I would if I had the technology on my guitars :laugh2:

B2D, Jimmy Page endorses the Transperformance System, no doubt why the price is as high as it is. It's obvious they are marketing it for extremely rich musicians. 4000 for a strat tuning system is borderline insane, I don't care how technical it is. If there is something cheaper and more accurate (tuning should be within 1-cent, the Transperformance is within 2), it will be a huge hit and I will definitely try to be one of the first in line for it.
