Rewiring my Dean - Traditional 3 way + push/pull or PRS 5way rotary?

I've got a Dean Icon that I rewired a few years back. Just got it back from a friend who has had it for a few years.

It has a 59/C5 combo in it.

One of the pots is bad so I was considering rewiring it once I got it opened up.

It's a three way switch with master tone and master volume at the moment.

I'm considering changing it to push/pull for coil tapping.

I also considered going with a PRS 5 way rotary switch. With no tone and a volume for each pickup.

I'm looking for more options than the standard 3 way. Anything else to consider?

Aesthetically I'm thinking cream chicken head knobs. I think that would look pretty sweet.

The PRS rotary selector switch requires one of the two SD pickups to have its magnet flipped for three of the selections to work and be hum-cancelling.

Additionally, the rotary PCB rotary offers no both HBs together combination. The earlier PRS rotary selector can only offer this combination after reconnection of several of the jumper connections between the wafers. (I've never seen a schematic for the early circuit with the "Power, out of phase" position.)

Three-way selector plus push-pull will be far simpler to do. Flipping the magnet in one pickup and connecting its coils in reverse order will keep the both pickups, coil split selection noise cancelling.

Another idea to consider is Triple Shot mounting surrounds.

Tell me about the Triple Shot. I've seen it mentioned on the forum but I'm unsure about what it is.
