It was muffled....strange sound...dunno how it will fare in other setups??
But to me it was a closed sound, like looking through a haze??

Well you got your answer from the man that you specifically asked for.

But if it's any extra consolation,

I had one of those when they first came out (with the turned aluminum faceplate), can't recall if it was around the time of Rid's experience or before. Regardless, he's spot on...

T'was nothing special at all.

Kinda disapointing after my experience with their SansAmp Classic. It paled to any overdrive pedal I've used. But, eh, you never know, it could be your thing.

Yeah the GT-2 and the SansAmp classic...that is defently something else, marvelous equipment!
