Not sure if its just the recorder, but your gain sounds are more quiet than the clean.

I don't mind budget guitars at all....got a couple. But am I a gear snob 'cause I paid for it/didn't ask someone to give it to me?

Not sure if its just the recorder, but your gain sounds are more quiet than the clean.

The valvestate has the weirdest thing going with its volume, you have to have the gain sound volume at 3-4 to be heard whereas the clean volume has to be at 2 to be heard

That's just how it works because gain adds compression.
